Right now, he is locked in on BRUCE WAYNE, the follow-up to DB4BW. If everything lands correctly, it will arrive on his birthday: Halloween.
Today, we dive into the mind of NOFLAW, an artist whose music feels less like a performance and more like a conversation with himself.

What are your everyday essentials?
The things you can’t live without, whether it’s jewelry, clothing, shoes, headphones, specific homies, your computer or anything else.
NOFLAW: I always keep my two phones on me—one for doom scrolling, one for phone calls and networking. I’m not really that big on fashion, but I love black clothing. I swear I’m NOT EMO; I just love black. I don’t really have any friends, but I do be with Josh, my brother; Ano, who I recently dropped a collab tape with; and my homie Jaafar, who is the leader of the Taliban in Iraq. I also stay with my MacBook for FL Studio and headphones for BandLab.

Who or what influences your work? Whether it’s other musicians, cartoons, movies or anything else?
NOFLAW: My biggest influences are Lil Uzi—the best artist of all time—Ken Carson and Batman, my GOAT.
Any new releases on the way?
NOFLAW: I’m working on my album BRUCE WAYNE, the follow-up to DB4BW. It is fully recorded and mixed by me, so I’m taking my time to make it perfect because I’m new to FL Studio. I’m pretty far along, and it should be out on my birthday: Halloween.
What kind of people do you think connect most deeply with your music, and what do you hope they take away from it?
NOFLAW: I really don’t know. Ummm, I make music for people like me, but I’ve come to realize I’m one of one.
What drives you to continue creating? What do you do this for? Is creating music, media and art a lifestyle or long-term plan?
NOFLAW: I continue to create because it’s like my version of playing the game. I don’t play the game as much as I used to, so to pass time I make music because I don’t really have nobody to talk to except for my microphone.
I’mma keep going until the niggas who tried to keep up and go against this pay me my respect.
What’s your favorite soda?
NOFLAW: I don’t really drink soda, but I do when I pour up… maybe pussy-flavored soda.

1. I’m really hated in Houston because niggas are tender and get in their feelings.
2. I go to sleep watching conspiracy videos.
3. I love my vape.
4. I love when my girl kisses me.
5. I’m really Batman, but I don’t save no bitch.
6. I don’t smoke weed.
7. I listen to Rihanna.
8. I got sued by two broke niggas.
9. I’ve owned more guns than niggas who are in gangs, and I don’t gangbang. I’m a civilian.
10. I take pretty girls on shopping sprees on the first date.
What song should we highlight?
NOFLAW: "Mr.wayne" is my favorite song. I made it on a lot of molly, and it was all a freestyle.
