We want to come out strong with our first issue.
Not halfway. Not rushed. Not built through underpaid creative labor or favors we can never properly return. We want Issue One of ARCHVE MAGAZINE to establish exactly what this publication can become: ambitious, beautifully designed, carefully produced, and filled with stories that deserve to be preserved.
Creating something at that level requires more than an idea.
There are printing and production costs. There are writers, photographers, filmmakers, designers, editors, and other independent creators whose contributions deserve to be compensated fairly. There are stories to develop, images to produce, pages to design, and physical issues to manufacture.
We understand that building ARCHVE correctly will require real resources—not only for the first issue, but for every issue and creative project that follows it.
So, we decided to raise funds.
We could have simply asked people to donate, but that did not feel like enough. If someone was willing to give ARCHVE a piece of their support, we wanted to give them a physical piece of ARCHVE in return.
That idea became the ICON KEYCHAIN SET.
These are not inexpensive promotional items made to be forgotten in a drawer. Each keychain was created as a high-quality, three-dimensional, double-sided PVC rubber object—something durable, tactile, and immediately recognizable as part of the ARCHVE world.
The designs transform our visual identity into something supporters can carry every day. What previously existed on a screen or printed page now becomes a physical object attached to someone’s keys, bag, camera case, or wherever else they choose to keep it.
It is small enough to travel anywhere, but meaningful enough to represent the beginning of something much larger.
The ICON KEYCHAINS are limited edition. Once this original release is gone, it will remain attached to this exact moment in ARCHVE’s history: the period before the first physical issue, when the magazine was still being built through belief, experimentation, long hours, and support from the people who saw its potential early.
Owning one means more than purchasing merchandise. It means becoming part of ARCHVE’s foundation.
Every keychain directly supports the development of Issue One and helps us move closer to the kind of publication we believe creators deserve. It helps cover production, strengthens our ability to work with more contributors, and allows us to build toward a future where the writers, photographers, videographers, designers, and artists involved can be paid fairly for what they bring to the magazine.
We do not want ARCHVE to become another company that talks about supporting creatives while depending on their unpaid labor. If this publication is going to advocate for artists, it must also respect the value of their time, knowledge, and work.
This first release is one step toward making that possible.
Every owner of an ICON KEYCHAIN will also receive exclusive access to future ARCHVE events and media campaigns. As the magazine expands into physical releases, screenings, exhibitions, collaborative projects, and new creative experiences, the people who supported us at the beginning will continue to be part of what comes next.
The keychain becomes proof of early belief—a small membership object connecting its owner to the growing ARCHVE community.
We are still at the beginning. Issue One has not yet reached people’s hands, our future events are still being imagined, and many of the stories ARCHVE will eventually document have not found us yet.
But beginnings matter.
Years from now, when ARCHVE has grown into the publication and creative institution we believe it can become, these keychains will represent the moment before all of that happened. They will belong to the people who helped give the idea enough momentum to become real.
For everyone giving us a piece of their support, this is our way of giving you a piece of us.
A limited object from the beginning of ARCHVE—and your invitation into everything that comes next.
